I love decorating children’s rooms, as you can be bold and bright and really have run. One thing I also love is making their rooms really fun and really personal, to reflect their character and also the things that they really love (after all, they spend a lot of time there!).
Here are some of my favourite examples of alphabet prints, posters and art for children’s rooms:
Art To Decorate Children’s Rooms
As we’re hopefully, fingers crossed, not tempting fate just yet, very possibly moving soon, I’m tentatively on the lookout for things you might want to buy for a new house to decorate our new rooms for the children.
So I was really interested in the range of children’s art from EasyArt I was recently contacted about. It’s all very brilliantly bold, bright, and vivid, especially the A-Z alphabet pictures above.

There’s also a range of classic children’s character art including the iconic Hungry Caterpillar pictures from Eric Carle:

(Affiliate links) If you’re looking for Very Hungry Caterpillar related-items for your children, these are some brilliant options:
- We loved this Very Hungry Caterpillar developmental toy.
- And of course you have the classic Very Hungry Caterpillar board book.
- This touch and feel playbook was a firm favourite in our house – both children loved it.
- And this large Very Hungry Caterpillar soft toy is lovely.
All the things on the walls in Eliza’s room at the moment have either been made for her or have special significance (like her fabric bunting made from my baby clothes, and her very own A-Z – I keep meaning to get round to posting this!).
While I’m not a fan of themed baby rooms, I really like the idea of having an illustration from one of her favourite books up there too.
Which prints for childrens rooms would you put on your wall?

For CK’s room, I bought a canvas map of the world with all the animals and where they come from from Bella Oscar. It’s fantastic for a child’s room. I tried to get a similar one for BB but she’s temporarily closed her shop 🙁
