Daddy…or chips?

I don’t think Eliza’s really got the whole Father’s Day secret thing yet. Yesterday we went shopping, and she stood at the bottom of the stairs shouting “Daddeeeee…we’re going to get your present!” And when we came back, she was so excited she bounded over to him saying “Dadeeeee, we have a secret present for your birthday!” Oh dear.

To celebrate Father’s Day, the fantastic TalkMum bloggers have been writing about their favourite fatherhood photos and memories, all together in one amazing post; Happy Father’s Day. Warning; these make me cry every time I read them. Such an amazing post, so make sure you take a look.

Dad’s are brilliant, aren’t they? Mine is, and so is Eliza’s. We’re both very lucky. And although she loves chips, I’m pretty sure it would be Daddy every time (just hoping she’ll be OK with sharing him next year).

Happy Father’s Day!

Ah, bless her! My daughter, at 4, is just getting the hang of secrets. Before that she thought that as long as she whispered your present to you, that was OK!
