You don’t need to buy loads of new clothes when you’re pregnant; jeans, a few dresses, tops and accessories will see you through, mixed in with some of your existing non-maternity clothes, and lots of accessories. I’m a big fan of maternity clothes though, basically because they fit well and make you feel loads better.

The guys at George – the ASDA clothing range – asked me to pick a few items from the maternity range. I’ve gone for dresses as I’m wearing nothing else at the moment (still so hot!) As I’m giving birth in October, these will be better in the cooler weather. Plus accessories are always good – you can’t go wrong with a statement necklace or a scarf., pregnant or not.

Stripes, florals, animal print, statement necklaces…what more could you want?

  1. Triangle shard statement necklace (£12)
  2. Ponte maternity dress (£10)
  3. Floral print maternity dress (£18)
  4. Maternity striped shift dress (£16)
  5. Animal print snood (£5).

Which would you wear?

P.S. here’s some more tips for pregnancy, in my nine (new) life hacks.
