Wooden mobiles of wonder from We Are Scamp

We will, at some point, be moving both girls into the same room in our house. Although it’s still a plan at the moment – it seems like such a huge step – I’m looking out for things for their new joint room that are similar but also individual.

So I really liked these personalised children’s wooden mobiles from We Are Scamp, makers of screen printed baby gifts and laser-cut wooden loveliness.

We were offered a review of the cloud decoration. You can personalise it with whatever message will fit, including the Maya Angelou quote I used in this blog post. In the end I went for a line from me and Eliza’s sleepy song, the one I used to soothe her to sleep when she was younger (does everyone have one of these?).

The cloud is around A4 sized and comes with a leather cord in one of three colours.

For Florence we were sent one of the brand new bus mobile designs which again, you’re able to personalise with a name and coloured cord of your choice.

We Are Scamp is a Leeds based company run by two sisters on a quest to find distinctive items for their own children – read the fabulous about page – and now make a range of personalised baby items and laser-cut wooden gifts, and are worth checking out if you’re looking for a different and really individual new baby gift, or are stuck for Father’s Day ideas too (21st June, you’re welcome).

From the fonts used on the wood to the way they both smell amazing (a wooden, lathey smell like the woodwork room at school – is that an odd thing to like?) this is lovely, lovely stuff.
