Win: your Christmas photos made into a photo book
How was everyone’s Christmas? Ours didn’t have the most promising of starts, involving a broken boiler, the storm cancelling almost all of the Christmas Eve trains to Bournemouth, and it looking for a while like we might be celebrating at Waterloo Station. But as soon as we got there it was really, really lovely.
If, like us, you took a lot of photos over the last few festive days, then you might be interested in new website Lifecake which offers parents a quick and private way for keeping family and friends updated on your children’s ‘must share’ moments securely. It alerts you via a mobile app or email when new photos have been added and you can also leave comments via smartphone, iPad or PC at www.lifecake.com. Lifecake automatically sorts photos by date into a beautifully designed album and highlights the most engaging moments for people to enjoy.
You can also create beautiful high quality photo books at Lifecake and I have one to give away, worth £50.
To enter:
- Leave a blog comment below telling me what was your favourite thing about this Christmas
- For an additional entry, follow me on Twitter (I’m @gill_crawshaw), tweet a link to this blog post and then leave an additional comment telling me you’ve done it
The prize draw will open at 11pm on Monday 30th December and close at 11.59pm on Sunday 13th January. The winner will be picked at random from all correct entries. Good luck!
T&Cs: 1) To enter the Lifecake photo book prize draw giveaway, leave a comment on this blog post telling me what your favourite thing about this Christmas was. For an additional entry, follow @gill_crawshaw on Twitter, tweet a link to this post and then leave a separate comment telling me you’ve done it 2) The prize is one Lifecake photo book worth £50. One prize only. No cash or alternative prizes will be given 3) The prize draw will open at 11pm on 30.12.13 and close on 13.01.14 at 11.59pm 4) The winner will be picked at random from all valid entries 5) The winner will be notified via email during January. The winner must reply within seven days of receiving the email or a new winner will be picked at random from the list 6) I reserve the right to change the entry dates at any time, for any reason. Thanks!

I love the time after lunch on Christmas Day and before the turkey (!) buffet in the evening. When the older ones settle down for a nap and the rest of us go for a walk. It is such a wonderful sight to see the little ones with their prams and dollies or bikes. You don’t see that so much now with computer games being all the rage. We are all red-cheeked and feeling fresh from the weather when we return. It is wonderful.

My favourite thing was our adventurous walk on the beach Christmas Day. Its become a bit of a tradition to work off the Christmas lunch but this year we had eaten late and we were all half cut! Coupled with the fact that there was a storm coming in, and the heavens opened half way through with lightning across the sky it certainly livened up the day although a repeat next year may be off the cards!

Seeing my little girls face on Christmas morning, she’s only two and for the week before she’d ask every morning if it was Christmas day yet and she’d look so disappointed when I’d tell her she’d have to wait a bit longer, Then Christmas day arrived and I think she expected to hear she still had longer to wait but when I said, yes today is Christmas day her whole face just lit up. x
