Wish you were here with Walkers Crisps

Bournemouth beach(This is a sponsored post) What’s everyone doing for Easter? If, like us, you’re not jetting off aboard somewhere hot – and that’s no bad thing, the weather is supposed to be glorious this weekend, plus it’s totally on trend to take a staycation – you might be looking for some bargainous family activities to get up to much closer to home.

Well, Walkers Crisps have teamed up with Merlin Entertainments to give away half price tickets to two top attractions – Chessington World of Adventures Resort and the 12 SEA LIFE aquariums and sanctuaries across the UK.

So, what’s the offer? For 12 weeks between the 31st March and the 20th June, you can find vouchers on packs of Walkers crisps that offer you half price tickets to Chessington World of Adventures Resort and SEA LIFE aquariums.

I can’t wait until E’s old enough for theme parks; at Chessington World of Adventures there are two new rides, ZUFARI: Ride into Africa where you can get up close and personal with a whole host of African animals, and Scorpion Express, where you board an old train and cross the sands, ruins of the mines and abandoned town.  Sounds amazing / terrifying, Alex might have to take her on that.

She’s definitely old enough for SEA LIFE, though (did you know it’s the world’s biggest aquarium chain with 12 venues across the UK? And there are creatures ranging from shrimps and starfish to seahorses, sharks and stingrays). SEA LIFE also provides an insight into the wealth and diversity of marine life, and plays an active role in marine conservation around the world. Something even toddlers can enjoy and start to appreciate.

Walkers crispsSo where can you find the tokens? They are available on a whole range of Walkers goodness; packs of Walkers Baked Stars, Mighty Lights and Hoops and Crosses (plus there’s two vouchers on all of the multipacks of six).

Let me know if you go. It sounds like a great deal to me; everyone gets to have fun, and eat lots of crisps (and here’s my recipe for the perfect crisp sandwich). Bargain, and enough to make you glad you didn’t go away.

Photo is me and Eliza on Bournemouth beach last year. See? It’s great to stay at home.
