How to be a brilliant mummy blogger

I’m very late with this, but a quick post to say I appeared in the November edition of Mother & Baby magazine talking about blogging (I am aware it’s March next month…). I give some tips on setting up and running a successful blog, along with some suggestions on getting people to actually read what you’re writing about. It was a fun collision between my professional, digital PR / blogging life and my own little baby blog right here.

I wrote the comments over the summer when the Olympics were on, so given the lightening speed at which things are changing with Eliza, it seems like years ago (it was pre walking, crawling and even pre-teeth!).

Thanks for having me M&B! And if there’s anything I can ever help anyone with blogging-wise, do let me know x.

  1. Wow! That’s really exciting! It’s always fun to have the mainstream media see us and not only is it good for you, but good for the rest of us as every piece like this will raise awareness of blogging (and that we should be taken seriously!).

  2. Excellent advice – thank you! x

  3. Brilliant! Love Mother & Baby magazine.
(Whoever picture researched the feature has clearly never written a blog though. Like you’d get anything done with a tot perched on the laptop!) x

Thank you! And so true about the photo. It’s such a stock photo imagine isn’t it (“woman + laptop + baby”). They’d clearly be trying to smear sticky hands all over the screen…
