Our personalised iPad cover from Bags of Love
I seem to have turned into paparazzi mum. There are over 2,000 baby photos on my phone, and I never pass up an opportunity for another impromptu photoshoot (Eliza will thank me when her first boyfriend is round, right?)
So I was pretty keen when Bags of Love – creators of personalised photo gifts – contacted me to review an item from the site. I chose the iPad cover, but you can have photos printed onto a whole range of products, from canvases and bags, through to the more unusual such as the range of bed linen and even a deckchair.
There are well over 2,000 photos of Eliza that I’d consider my favourite, but I picked two slightly different versions of one taken a few months ago for our thank you cards – we also used this other one – so although she’s changed so much since these were taken, it really encapsulates a particular point in time for me.
The process was incredibly easy. I sent the two photos over and two days later my iPad cover turned up. And I love it! The quality of the printing and craftsmanship is great, it’s a perfect size and the design is great for keeping small fingers off the screen.
Two tips if you’re ordering something similar: 1) as the image will be blown up to a bigger size, use a high-resolution photo and 2) obviously it’s all down to personal preference, but I picked an image that wasn’t too busy, with a plain background – which works really well. Here’s some more tips for taking good photographs of your children.
Thanks Bags of Love for the gift – opinions are all my own – and for giving me some great ideas for birthday and Christmas presents forever more. For your own gift from Bags of Love go to www.bagsoflove.co.uk

What a cute idea for an iPad cover. I think most of what’s on offer is pretty dull so would be nice to spruce things up with a personalised version.

It was nice to be able to completely personalise it – as agree that these things can be pretty dull otherwise! Plus I’m sure it’ll be appropriately embarrassing for her in years to come…;-)
