How to be one

How to be one
1) Open birthday presents in your own unique style (show a fleeting bit of interest in ripping the paper, be absolutely fascinated by pulling cards out of the envelopes, put everything straight in your mouth)

2) Try your first tiny bit of birthday cake and really kind of like it, especially the pink frosting

3) Wear a suitable party outfit such as a sparkly cardi and purple tutu, accessorised with this season’s must-have, the ladybird headband birthday present (I’m accessorising motherhood with a giant wine in this photo)

And be so, so lucky to have such amazing family and friends. We had the best weekend, thanks for all the presents, cards, messages and for everyone who made Eliza and her birthday twin Charlie’s first birthday party one to never forget. Thank you! x
